Bold logo concepts for an active swimwear company.

Manresa is an active swimwear company concept for women. The owner is still in the funding and development phase, but based on conversations with her, the swimsuits will be made of a unique blend of high-tech fabrics and will be designed to show off what you want and cover what you don’t. This combination of providing coverage while still being sexy allows women to feel confident and comfortable whether they are laying on the beach or being active in the water.

The client wanted a brand that was bold, minimalistic, trendy, and active. She also provided a mood board featuring blue color themes, wave accents, and inspirational quotes. From this information, along with an in-depth competitor analysis, I created five different logo concepts with accompanying color themes.

A few of the concepts stuck with the soft, feminine wave accent, while one of them combined the wave with the sharp edges of a square frame. The first concept displayed below went away from the client’s mood board but better fit her brand adjectives by being bold and minimalistic. This logo also was more unisex allowing for future growth of Manresa into men’s swimwear.
